Customer experience should be a top priority achieved through working together as a team and having respect for fellow staff members to create a seamless work environment. Working with the General Manager and Kitchen Manager in daily procedures as well as managing baristas on shift ensuring they are staying on task and providing an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for making sure the front of house has all the products necessary to fulfill all customer orders and to operate in an efficient manner, as well as maintaining an effective barista training program.

Job SummaryAs Front of House Manager you are responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience through the products offered and the team you develop.
Responsibilities

•  Maintain a positive attitude
• Responsible for receiving orders, inspecting them, stocking them and processing payments for them.
• Maintains cleanliness of the cafe through daily and weekly cleaning task lists.
• Ensures consistency through training and develops recipes.
• Maintains weekly inventory logs for front of house supplies.
• Hire, train and develop all front of house staff members.
• Understands and upholds all internal policies and procedures.
• Communicates with the General Manager and Kitchen Manager to ensure weekly and monthly specials are being relayed to staff and customers.
• Ensures the Front of House is complying with health regulations and keeping staff up-to-date with food handlers cards.
• Being a leader to all staff through work ethic and timeliness
• Assists with special events
• Development of monthly drink specials
• Assist in social media posting

Qualifications

• Barista experience a must
•  Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Self motivated with the ability to move between task easily
• Ability to divide responsibilities and monitor progress
•  Must be able to work weekends, holidays and afternoons
